Memorial International School of Tirana, AlbaniaThe Memorial International School of Tirana is a private co-educational school and was approved by the Albanian Ministry of Education on 28 January 2002. It offers the English National Curriculum to students from pre-school to grade 7 (age 13) for the year 2002-2004. The Memorial International School of Tirana is located in new premises in Tirana and about 3 km from the center. Facilities include specialist areas such as a science lab, networked computer lab, art and music room, gymnasium and a library. Each classroom has a computer with TV connection to enable computer based studies. Class sizes range from 7 to 15 to help student-teacher interaction and to allow teachers to meet the education needs of the individual pupil. French is taught as a modern foreign language after grade 4. The Memorial International School of Tirana provides with facilities such as breakfast, lunch and transport. Memorial International School of Tirana accepts applications from all students. Classes commence at 08: 00 for all students and finish at 16: 00. The school year starts in the third week of September and ends in the second week of June. There is a two-week Christmas break in December and a one-week spring break in the first week of April.
