Student Wellbeing St John’s is a safe environment where all students are cared for in their educational spiritual social and emotional needs. As a Catholic community we also when someone has made a mistake work towards restoration. We work towards healing and forgiveness and justice. Our counselling services support the entire school community. We have trained psychologists who are able to assist with a range of issues which are faced by members of our community. Caring and Sharing Specially tailored programs begin on the first day that a child arrives at St John’s so all of our Year 7 students are involved in a comprehensive Transition Program that provides a firm foundation for secondary education. There are many programs and structures within the College which together ensure that every child is known and supported. In addition to formal school structures such as our House system the Buddy System within a vertical home room structure develops confidence and self esteem through friendships between Year 7 and Year 10 students.
