School Introduction

VGC Language School is a leading English language school in Vancouver, Canada, the most beautiful city in the world. We help our students from around the world become fluent in English with Vancouver English classes, student social activities, and study and work programs like paid professional internships in Canada. It is important to us that our students enjoy themselves, which is why we make our classes and activites as fun as possible, because there is so much to do in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. Our general and business English classes and elective classes are geared toward helping our students do more than just learn English - we want them to live and breathe English while experiencing the Canadian experience.

ESL Program Introduction

VGC Language School has several levels of Vancouver English courses. Our General English program are half day classes designed for students to learn English communication foundations such as listening, speaking and grammar. General English Plus is similar to General English except students also study two elective courses in the afternoon to help further enhance their English in a specific topic. English for Academic Studies prepares students for higher education at colleges and universities or for their Vancouver internships and entry into the work force. Once students successfully complete the 9 levels of General English, General English Plus, or English for Academic Studies programs, they may continue with classes that specialize in preparing students for their IELTS and TOEFL exams. They may also choose our University Pathway course that further educates and supports ESL students who may be struggling at universities and colleges. Our elective classes cover a wide range of topics from basic Vocabulary Workshops to specific topics like Canadian Business Culture, Creative Writing, and more.
