Cork International Language Academy, CILA, is located in Cork.
CityCork is Ireland's second largest city. Located in the South of the country it enjoys closeness to the breath-taking beauty of the South-West of Ireland as well as charming mountains and clean, quiet beaches.
The city is host to many international festivals each year and so attracts people from around the world.
Cork offers a safe and friendly environment in which to live, learn and enjoy life in Ireland. Unlike other cities in Ireland, Cork's foreign student population is quite small. This means that you have more opportunities to share in the everyday life of native Irish people.
At CILA we aim to give you the complete English Language Learning Experience.
We not only teach English, we create an experience in which you learn, have fun and meet new people while you become a relaxed and confident English speaker.

ESL Program Introduction
CILA offers English Language Courses for adults (18+) in Cork City, Ireland from 2 weeks. We have two types of courses:
CSE (Standard English Course): 20 hours per week.
CBE (Businees English Course): 26 hours per week.
The average number of students per class is 8 and the maximum is 12. On arrival, each student is graded by test and interview so that progress can be carefully monitored during their stay in our school.
We don't charge registration fee or booking fee, and course material is included in the price.
We organize for our English courses students activities during the week (from monday to friday in Evening timetable). Most of these activities are included in the price.
CILA offers a full range of facilities to ensure that you make the most of your free time:
INTERNET ACCESS: Keep in contact with family and friends. We offer full, fast internet access and e-mail. Also our apartment have WiFi or cable Internet access.
CANTEEN: When you are not in class we offer you a comfortable and relaxing place to go and talk with your friends.

Housing/Accommodation Info
APARTMENT SHARING: The most popular accommodation option. You live with Irish students and foreign students from all over the world. Together you all share the common desire to learn and have fun!. You have a single room with a desk and plenty of storage space. All the apartments include full kitchen facilities and a living room with multi channel TV (CNN, Euronews, MTV and more), telephone and private mail box. Laundry facilities and bed linen are included. Towels are not included. HOST FAMILY Our host families are carefully chosen. A strong relationship exists between the host family and our accommodation officer which ensures the quality of your accommodation. Remember: your meals are at a set time each day and you are a member of a family. Host families are located in the city suburbs and are usually only a short bus ride from the school. You have a single room with a desk and your own storage space. You have access to the family's kitchen, sitting room and laundry facilities.
