School Introduction Dublin Cultural Institue is located right in the heart of Dublin city centre, just beside O'Connell Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in the capital of Ireland. The school was established in 2004 and it is privately run. There is a good student atmosphere since we cater for students of any nationality and a nice friendly environment.
All the classes are spacious and bright. They are audiovisually equipped and there is heating and air conditioning in each one of them. There is also a student room that the students can use during breaktime or where they can study and do homework. There is also a state of the art computer room with internet access for all students.
Dublin Cultural Institute can also provide host family accommodation for those students who wish to experience living with an Irish family.
Dublin Cultural Institute has been recognised by the Irish Department of Education for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language.
ESL Program Introduction
Dublin Cultural Institute offers General English Programmes, full and part-time. We have all levels from Beginners to Advanced. Students are required to sit a level test prior to commencing their course of studies.
Dublin Cultural Institute has been successfully running Cambridge Exam Preparation courses for the last year and a half with a high percentage of students who passed these exams. We also offer Business English courses (Vantage and Higher levels) and prepare students for the Cambridge Business Exams.
DCI also organises tailor made computer courses in Basic ECDL, Advanced ECDL and Web Design.

Schedule & Fees
The General English Programme is open all year round (with the exception of 2 weeks during Christmas) so that students can join the course every Monday. Students can also join the Business English course every second Monday of the month.
There are specific starting dates for the Cambridge Exam Preparation courses which are: First week of January, first week of March and First week of September every year.
The Computer courses are subject to demand, therefore starting dates will be arranged depending on student numbers.
The fees for General English full-time (15 hrs per week) are as follows:
1 week - €120
1 month - €460
2 months - €700
3 months - €850
6 months - €1, 400

12 months - €2, 000
Part-time courses:
€60 per week (minimum registration of 2 weeks): 2 days per week, 3 hrs each day.

Housing/Accommodation Info
Students who wish to stay with an Irish host family must inform the school well in advance (minimum 2 weeks). The standard weekly rate is €150 to be paid directly to the host family. This is the rate for a single room and it also includes breakfast and evening meal.
