School Introduction

Atlantic S.E.A.L is located in the beautiful harbourside village of Schull beside the Atlantic ocean in magical West Cork on the dramatic Mizen Peninsula. We specialise in micro-group (average 4 students) & ‘One to One’ General/Specialist & Executive Business English programmes for adults in our year round centre. Our idyllic location means that these can be combined with a very exciting and stimulating leisure programme to explore landsports, watersports & cultural/creative activities.

Junior Programmes are held at Easter & summer time and year round by special arrangement. Family programmes are our speciality at holiday time.

We run English language teacher training programmes throughout the off peak (autumn, spring, winter) season. Approved & validiated by Trinity College London.

ESL Program Introduction

Atlantic SEAL offers micro-group & one to one English programmes for adults who want to improve their General, specialist, Business, Exam English skills. We also offer closed corporate group programmes for companies with specific needs for their employees' English skills. In summer & Easter at our nearby separate junior centre we offer an all inclusive language & leisure programme with host family or residential accommodation. We also offer leisure and accommodation/airport transfers etc as part of our package for our adult students. Specialist combination programmes such as 'Learn English & Golf' Learn English & Scuba-diving/horse-riding, Irish music' etc can also be arranged. We are the only school in Ireland approved by Trinity College London to host their prestigious CertTESOL English language teacher training qualification programme.

Fees: For adults the average group lesson rate is €14 per hour. 20 hours per week is usual. 'One to One' rates are €40 per hour. Accommodation is from €160 per week in host family with breakfast & evenign meal. Or B&B/guesthouse/Hotel from €40 per night. Leisure Programme is €90 per week for 3 afternoons of creative, cultural and sporting activities for adults. Full day excursions are €40 per day. Juniors full all inclusive programme with 20 hours group lessons, 5 afternoons of leisure, full day weekend excursions, breakfast, lunch & evening meal with host family - €525 per week. Discounts for families and small groups also for longer than 4 week stays.
