School Introduction
English in Dublin is located in the elegant and historic setting of Merrion
Square, in the heart of Georgian Dublin. Famous residents of Merrion Square include the writers Oscar Wilde and W.B. Yeats.
The school is only minutes away from the Natural History Museum, the National Gallery of Ireland, Trinity College and many shops, restaurants and bars.
In 2011, we celebrated our 25th year as a language school. Over the years, students from more than 46 countries around the world have benefited from courses at English in Dublin.
English in Dublin is open all year, and students can start their course on any Monday.
All classrooms have internet connections. Facilities for students include hot snacks, tea, coffee cold drinks and free WIFI.
Our school is recognised by the Irish Department of Education and Skills.
ESL Program Introduction
We provide General English and examination preparation courses at all main levels from Elementary to Advanced level. Our exam preparation courses include FCE, CAE and IELTS. We provide special beginner courses, as required. We also offer Business English courses specifically designed to meet your needs.
Our General English courses are designed to give students maximum exposure to English in a relaxed and pleasant learning environment with the emphasis on communication and interaction.
On arrival, students are given a written and oral placement test and a short interview with the Academic Manager. All class levels are based on the Council of Europe Framework and authentic materials, such as DVD clips, newspapers and magazines are used in class on a regular basis.
