School Introduction

The Language Workshop is a school located in a beautiful, natural environment that teaches English as a Second Language (ESL), Chinese, Japanese and Korean to students of all ages. The school is a private home that is surrounded by many trees, flowers and a small stream flowing through the property. The
area has many attractions both natural and man-made such as the Cascade Mountains, Olympic National Forest, Puget Sound, the world-famous Space Needle and Seattle Center.
The school is within minutes of shopping malls, parks and sports facilities.
We stress a friendly, low-pressure approach to language study. Students are encouraged to "use it or lose it" and are afforded many opportunities to practice their newly-acquired skills in real-life meaningful situations.

ESL Program Introduction

At The Language Workshop, all ESL classes are focused on the individual needs of each student. We try to avoid the "institutional" approach found at many larger schools. Each student has unique language problems that should be addressed on a one-to-one basis. Students are regularly taken to Seattle area locations on tours which provide wonderful opportunities to practice what has been learned in meaningful real-life situations.This is the major advantage of coming to The Language Workshop.

Schedule & Fees

Starting dates depend on students' available free times.
Tuition: $ 20.00 per one-hour class X number of classes scheduled.
Homestay - (Minimum one week)
Classes (3 hours per day) - $ 300.00
Private Room - $ 100.00 per week
Study Materials, pick-up and return to SeaTac International Airport, other ground transportation, tours of the greater Seattle area - $ 100.00 for each week of homestay
