School Introduction

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Malta-Gozo has been in operation since 2001. We have three different learning centres which enables us to be able to offer our students individual attention and tailor-made courses all year round in an environment that closely matches the individual students’ needs. Each centre offers a very high standard of teaching with IH qualified teachers in well lit fully air-conditioned classrooms. INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Malta-Gozo is part of the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE WORLD ORGANISATION, which has 150 schools in more than 50 countries and has been teaching English to the world since 1953.

ESL Program Introduction

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE St. Julian’s, Malta, catering for adult students, is perfectly located in the heart of Malta, just a 5 minute walk from the sandy beach, shops, bars, cafes, cinemas and restaurants of St. Julian’s centre. There is a choice of outdoor spaces in which the students can relax and practice speaking English between lessons. All the classrooms are light and airy and are air-conditioned. Students have access to a self-study area including free online based learning activities.

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Victoria, Gozo provides a very high standard of teaching for executives and families at their accommodation. This enables us to offer a truly memorable English language learning experience.

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Young Learners Paradise Bay is a fully residential centre located in the four star resort at Paradise Bay. The resort is conveniently located in the north of the Island 100m from the sea. The hotel complex has two tennis courts, three outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, volleyball court, private sandy, beach terraces, diving school and sun decks. All the classrooms are light and airy and are air-conditioned. The centre offers a safe and secure environment for both teens and juniors to learn and improve their English in. The residential package includes accommodation, general English lessons (20 per week) and a full week leisure activity programme. The students have 24 hour supervision and are not allowed to leave the premises unaccompanied.

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE YOUNG LEARNERS RESIDENTIAL CENTRE, Malta pricelist - Price: €1, 295 per student (the fee is for 13 nights stay, extra week €625, extra night €75)



General Information

-Courses start every Monday, unless advised otherwise.
-Each lesson is 45 minutes.
-Course resource fee of €35.00 - includes welcome pack, orientation meeting, placement test, course material, course certificate, student map, student card, and visa assistance (where applicable).
-Examination fees are not included but may be booked and paid for at IH Malta-Gozo.
-IH Malta-Gozo is open all-year-round from Monday to Friday. The School will be closed on 2nd April 2010 (Good Friday) and during the Christmas period Monday 20th December to Friday 31 December 2010. School will reopen on the 3rd January 2011.
-Coffee break is between 10:30 and 11:00, lunch break is between 12.30 and 13.00.
-Certificate of attendance is given on departure.
-Levels for group courses range from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced.
-Beginner and Elementary level students can only be accepted by prior arrangement or will be offered individual tuition for at least 50% of their course, should their level be unknown on arrival.
-Supplementary lessons available on request.
-Lesson times could vary in high season.
-At IH St Julian’s, Malta centre average number of students in class all year round -6 persons (maximum 10 per class low season, 12 in the high season). Average number of students in group classes 3 persons (maximum number of students per group class-8 persons) at IH Victoria, Gozo. Maximum of 15 students per class attending Young Learners programme.
-All classrooms are air-conditioned.
-Unlimited free use of Wi-Fi, internet and library. Free tea, coffee and water.
