School Introduction

Bell Academy of English & Art is located in Ashburton- 'Heartland' New Zealand. Ashburton is a very prosperous town just one hour's drive south from Christchurch International airport. (We have a Free transit service with Christchurch International Airport) We are the only English Language school in Ashburton.

Ashburton has a population of just 15, 000 and is clean, green and very safe. Our region has a wonderful selection of sports, recreation and culture to enjoy. Mt Hutt ski-field is close by - we have 6 golf courses (just $20 for a round of golf) a man- made lake, international standard tennis courts and hockey turf etc. Our in-house art studio allows students (young and old) to enjoy art - painting, sculpture, mosaic, wool fibre craft, spinning, weaving, sketching using pastels and charcoal. Our Homestays are close by - many students simply walk or cycle to the Academy:-No transport costs or delays in travelling to and from the Academy.

ESL Program Introduction

General English for students as young as 11 years right through to 111 years. Staircasing opportunities with our secondary schools Ashburton College and My Hutt College (Methven). Gap year - Working Holiday - we have jobs availabe (guaranteed) with Mid Canterbury Employment - all year round. Senior groups or individuals: -mix Converstaion English with golf, fishing, Art, floral design, lawn bowls, skiing , fishing etc. English in the mornings with Art every afternoon is very popular.

All ranges of English from Elementary through to IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge Examination preparation. English at Bell Academy with Business study courses at Aoraki Polytechnic. Discounts for groups.We can prepare you for your future - wherever that mey lead.

Start any Monday- 1 week - 50 week study periods.
English (Full time): $350 per week, DISCOUNT for 13 weeks and longer: only $335 per week

English & Art (Full Time): $360 per week - includes all materials supplied, DISCOUNT for 13 weeks and longer: only $324 per week

English (Part Time) 15 hours per week $ 270 per week - DISCOUNT $260 per week

Art (Part Time) 10 hours per week $190 per week - includes all materials supplied, DISCOUNT $180 per week
