The Diploma in Reflexology

The Diploma in Reflexology qualification is a study of the reflexes of the feet that relates to the various parts of the body.  Hand Reflexology and Auricular Therapy (reflexes of the ears) are also taught during the year.  Students also study Zone Therapy and the Meridians relating back to the feet and hands.  Working on these reflexes, people experience relaxation, balance and ease from pain, swelling and discomfort.

The Diploma in Reflexology course is a mixture of in class training and correspondence learning of workbooks and client consultations.  The student will need to come to Nelson to attend three weeks of training that is structured within the year.  The block courses must be done in order, and must be attended by the student in order to learn the practical applications of the feet, hands and ears that is so important to understand fully.  The class begins on a Monday, through to Friday, 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm.

This comprehensive learning program is one of the most sought after in the world, having both National and various International accreditations.  With over 25 years of knowledge, Shelley Monrad is the main tutor and who still continues to treat clients in Nelson, who still enjoys teaching her students real life practical application skills, so that they too can have a successful clinic and prosperous clientelle base.
