The school is situated in an extensively refurbished historic house in Djursholm, a leafy suburb north of central Stockholm, around 20 minutes from the centre by car or public transport. The school is dedicated to providing a broad, high-quality education for children from 3-11 years of age of all nationalities. The British National Curriculum forms the basis of the curriculum, internationalised to take advantage of the school's location and the wide experiences of its children. Great emphasis is placed on providing children with a caring, supportive environment in which confidence and self-esteem is nurtured and mutual respect encouraged. Classes are small, enabling teachers to identify and develop the academic potential and learning needs of each child. Facilities at the school include two playgrounds, with a variety of games and climbing apparatus, a well-stocked library, and fully equipped computer suite, music room and gymnasium. All classrooms are furnished with internet-linked interactive whiteboards. The school has access to nearby sports fields for games lessons and a local pool for weekly swimming. The surroundings of the school provide opportunities for a wealth of outdoor activities and trips throughout the year. The teaching staff is qualified and highly experienced in teaching the UK curriculum. Children are taught by specialists for ICT, music, PE and Swedish. An Individual Needs Department provides intensive EAL and (mild) specific learning needs support.
