School Introduction

Based in the heart of Cardiff, CELT is the only privately-owned British Council accredited language school in South Wales. The school was founded in 1989 and runs a variety of English language courses which include General English, IELTS preparation, Cambridge Exam preparation, Business English and a summer programme for both adults and teenagers.

We are a small school with a friendly family atmosphere which allows us to offer our students a very personalised service. The school has excellent facilities for students such as 2 computer rooms with FREE Internet access and email, a self-access library, a student lounge and eating area, a kitchen which our students are able to use to prepare food and a garden.

ESL Program Introduction

We run a year-round General English Course with 2 options available - a 16-hour-per-week standard programme and a 23-hour-per-week intensive course.

We also offer an IELTS preparation course and a combination General / Business English programme.

During the summer period we run a "Holiday Language Course" for both adults and teenagers (13 - 17) with a full social activity programme

One-to-One tuition can also be arranged on request.
