Whether you require business German to help at work, recreational French for a holiday, or need to improve your English whilst living in the UK, we have the course for you. We at Optima believe that understanding culture is key to learning new languages, and this aspect plays a central role in all of our programmes.
The learning experience is delivered within the East Midlands region of the UK providing easy access to a wealth of heritage sites and areas of cultural significance. These will underpin the ‘Walk-and-Talk’™ activities as well as having good infrastructure links with the rest of the country.
Consisting the counties of Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and the country’s smallest county of Rutland, kings and queens, poets, authors and pilgrims all have left their mark and are remembered in the region's heritage centres, museums, castles and stately homes. It is a region full of contrast.
ESL Program Introduction
The Intensive English Learning Experience is a programme offered over one, two or three weeks that delivers just that – a complete learning experience where you will immerse yourself in the English language.
The Intensive English Learning Experience will consist of approximately 5 hours language training per day including a working lunch with your personal tutor.
Training is interactive and dynamic, delivered via a combination of tailored material presentations, one-to-one sessions and role-plays with your tutor and situational learning in real social environments i.e. in restaurants, shops, etc.

Schedule & Fees
We provide one-to-one and small group tuition, and so our course start dates are flexible to suit you, running from February to November.
Fees are quotes in advance as a fixed price quote depending on your specific requirements, but for one individual generally cost:
1 week - £1500
2 week - £2500
3 weeks - £3000
Preferential rates are provided for small gorups.

We use self contained flats in a converted Georgian building in Southwell - an historic town in the heart of England. Homestay can be arranged for the full culture experience.
