The exclusive summer program of The International Summer School of Scotland offers high school students, aged 14-18, the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in the historic and picturesque seaside town of St Andrews.

Students create a personalised three-week program to suit both your academic needs and extra curricular tastes. In addition students will benefit from a broad ranging and all-inclusive activities program. With an exhilarating selection of outdoor activities, day trips, evening entertainments and the exclusive Highland Adventure.

English Language Program

At the International Summer School of Scotland we believe that learning English is about more than studying words and phrases- we see it as a chance to explore new ideas and cultures and develop communication skills that will take you around the world. This exciting interactive program catering for all ability levels assists students to become proficient in the English language while immersing them in an English speaking environment.

We also offer an advanced English Language Program for those whose spoken English is of a high standard, but whose written English needs work.
This nurturing yet challenging atmosphere will help all students make significant progress and develop communication skills necessary to function efficiently and effectively in both social and academic settings.

All students select one academic and one elective otion. In addition to English Language we offer Academic options including: International Baccalaureate, Youth Leadership, Debating and Creative Writting.

These academic options can be combines with an elective: Film, Theatre, Tennis and Golf.
