School Introduction Ardmay House International Summer School is the ideal place for students aged from 8 - 13 to learn English and make friends from around the world whilst taking part in a variety of fun and exciting activities.
Set in the heart of Scotland’s first National Park, we are privileged to have a fantastic location surrounded by stunning countryside. At the same time, Ardmay House is less that one hour from the centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s most vibrant city.
We aim for every student to have a safe, happy, active and creative experience in an environment that is caring and supportive. Our highly qualified team act as positive role models and encourage our students to be independent and successful.
At Ardmay House we are truly passionate about language and culture, and offer the ideal setting for young students to learn English whilst making friends and having fun. We area a family-run buisiness who aim to ensure that each student gets the most out of their stay with us.
ESL Program Introduction
Students have English lessons in small classes (maximum of 12 students per class). They are taught by highly qualified professionals who are experienced in teaching English to young, international students. Lessons focus on communication skills and confidence building in English. Modern teaching techniques are used to ensure that students are motivated and encouraged.
At the start of the course, students will be assessed in English. They will be put into classes based on their level, age and nationality.
Preparation for trips and excursions is carried out during English lessons where students are able to learn more about where they are going. They may prepare questions to ask when on a trip, or learn the language that will be useful to them for a particular excursion.
At the end of the course, students will receive an Ardmay House Summer School certificate and a detailed report from their class teacher highlighting their strengths in English and areas for improvement.

Schedule & Fees
Course dates:
Course 1: July 4, 2010 - July 17, 2010
Course 2: July 25, 2010 - August 7, 2010
Tuition: £1200 (per 2 week course) inclusive of full board, accomodation, all afternoon and evening activities, excursions, use of equipment, airport transfers and 15 hours English tuition per week (30 hours per course).
