School Introduction

English On is a specialist language school that offers online training in general English, aviation English, examination preparation and English for the travel industry. All our courses are one-to-one (individual) and are offered via our online classroom.
Our teaching staff is composed of experienced professionals with a TEFL qualification and more than 3 years experience.

For aviation English we can offer you a complete personlised programme with a teacher of more than 12 years experience who will make your learning fun, dynamic and time-effective.

ESL Program Introduction

We offer general English training in 8 levels from beginner to advanced. Our programmes are all one-2-one and are designed according to your specific needs.
We offer 3 types of course block and all courses are taken online with a qualified, experienced native-speaker teacher. Using Skype or Google Talk and your course book and CD-ROM you will find our courses very similar to studying offline, but more effective.

Aviation English courses are given by a teacher with 12 years experience working wit various airlines and flight schools in Europe. You will find our courses go much further than those offered by generalist schools. We have accumulated a large amount of high quality materials including hundreds of hours of recordings of ATC-pilot dialogues that will add value to your course.

As from summer 2010 we also offer intensive one-2-one courses at our study centre in Manchester. Manchester is an ideal place to learn English being centrally located in the UK, cheap and very friendly. You will find the city has more museums, galleries, bars and clubs and possibilities for exciting sports activities than you have time to do.

Housing/Accommodation Info

Accommodation is available in high quality shared apartments in central Manchester or in hotel / guest house. Shared Apartment /House We want all students to be comfortable here in the UK and therefore we offer the possibility of students finding their own accommodation or we can arrange accommodation for you. Apartments in Manchester are generally equipped to a high standard and rents will include all bills and service charges. If we arrange accommodation for you in a shared flat it will cost between £90 and £100 per week. Hotel or Guest House Hotels and guest houses are logically more expensive than shared apartments and are more suited to short 1 or 2 week stays. Average prices in Manchester city centre start at £25 per night and can range up to £100 per night or more. Tell us your requirements and we will find the right option for you. NOTE: You are responsible for making hotel bookings and paying the hotel directly. Student Halls of Residence We can place students in a single room in one of Manchester’s many student halls of residence. This is the cheapest option and provides comfortable, if basic, accommodation. This type of accommodation is available in the summer months only. We recommend Manchester Student Village as a central, budget option.
