Cambridge Medical English provides specialist English courses for doctors to help prepare them for English-speaking hospitals. ESL Program Introduction

Medical English course is for anyone who wants to work in an English hospital and therefore needs to communicate in English effectively, confidently and safely.
Our Medical English course aims to give you a better chance of success in an English hospital because we teach you:

Medical terminology in English, which will include layman's terminology for anatomy and diseases, in order for you to understand and to be understood by your patients as well as colleagues and to communicate effectively in English in the medical environment using all the language skills - reading, writing, speaking and understanding the spoken word.

You will learn and practise the medical language for the hospital, patient and professional colleagues and also other important issues such as NHS, GMC registration, writing CVs and letters, PLAB specifications and much more
