BSE Bath School of English specialises in short, full-immersion One to One English courses for students who want to improve their General English, Academic English (IELTS) or English for Specific Purposes quickly. We also specialise in One to One Plus courses - students can combine English lessons with a favourite interest - golf, tennis or art lessons.
The English courses at BSE Bath are taught in the relaxed and informal surroundings of the Homestay accommodation provider's home. The teachers go to the Homestays to teach the lessons.
One of our main priorities is to arrange high quality accommodation for our students with friendly, educated and welcoming hosts. Students have their own room, half board (breakfast and dinner every day) and Internet access. At BSE Bath School of English we provide a high quality English course in a quality Homestay.
Bath is a World Heritage site in south-west England, a city full of character, steeped in history and most famous for its thermal baths, which are fed by three hot springs.
The city nestles in a valley surrounded by seven hills, and it is famed for its architecture, typically neo-classical in design and built using the characteristic, local Bath stone.
Today, Bath is a dynamic, cosmopolitan, lively city with a large student population and many tourists from both the UK and overseas, particularly in the summer months. It is a wonderful study location.
ESL Program Introduction
Students at BSE Bath School of English study from 1 - 4 weeks. The full-immersion English courses are designed for students who want to improve their English fast, whether for general contexts or for more specialised purposes. Study as intensively as you want - five, six or seven hours a day, Monday-Friday.
At BSE Bath school of English students can choose to combine morning One to One English lessons with an afternoon activity - choose from golf, tennis or art lessons.
Our highly effective English One to One courses (private lessons) are taught in the comfortable and informal surroundings of a welcoming Homestay home.
The full-immersion English One to One courses at BSE Bath School of English are taught by highly qualified, friendly and experienced English language teachers. We only select teachers of the highest calibre. We choose them for their educational and professional qualifications, their English teaching experience and their personal qualities.

Housing/Accommodation Info
The School can arrange high quality Homestay accommodation with friendly, educated and welcoming hosts. Students have their own room, half board (breakfast, lunch and dinner every day) and Internet access. We guarantee that there will be no other international students staying in the same Homestay. The lessons take place in the Homestay - the teacher goes to the Homestay. This arrangement saves the student time on travelling to and from school every day, and gives them more time to focus on improving their English. Your lessons will take place in a designated room in the Homestay house, such as in the lounge or study.
