At EF Academy Torbay, students follow the IGCSE program in their first two years of secondary school and can choose from the IB Diploma or A-Level program in their last two years of secondary school. After-school activities, clubs and sports take place on campus but often see students take advantage of off-campus opportunities, such as horseback riding and sailing. Instruction and guidance at EF Academy Torbay is personalized. Each student is assigned a personal tutor whose role is to monitor their academic progress and general well-being. University guidance counselors work together with students to help them search for, select and apply to the schools that best suit them and their goals. EF Academy Torbay students have been accepted to universities such as Durham, Warwick and Exeter.
