School Introduction The Iowa Intensive English Program (IIEP)provides international students with high quality intensive English instruction and a cultural, social and academic introduction to the U.S. It focuses on improving students' grammar, writing, reading, listening comprehension, pronunciation and conversation skills.
The University of Iowa is located in Iowa City, Iowa, a quiet, midwestern community of 62, 000 people. Iowa City offers all of the amenities of a modern urban center, while maintaining a friendly, small-town atmosphere. It is an academically oriented and student-friendly community. It is a four- to six-hour drive to the major urban centers of Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City.

If you wish to study in an undergraduate degree program at The University of Iowa, conditional admission to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is available. You must be academically admissible in all ways and submit a minimum TOEFL score of 450 (paper-based) or 133 (computer-based).
