School Introduction

Conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan Amity Language Institute specialize in the teaching of English. All of our teachers are qualified, experienced native speakers. We believe that a small group format allows our teachers to give every student the focus and personal attention needed for the greatest success at learning a new language.

ESL Program Introduction

Our Intensive English program is 18hr per week, Monday to Friday, 10-12pm and 12:30-2:30pm. Maximum number of students per class: 8. Program includes grammar, conversation, listening-comprehension, reading, writing, American culture. You can plan your studies and select the courses you want to attend.
We have different levels from beginner to advance. Before you start your class, you will take a placement test, unless you are a complete beginner. Duration of class is 2 hours and short breaks are taken each hour.

Additional classes can be taken like: "Walks in New York" (Learn about points of interest in New york and visit them with your teacher). "Reading American Newspapers" "Business English".
