School Introduction

Acquire Language Now is a multi-level language acquisition solution with intensive language courses to meet the needs of academic students, business concerns, occupational language needs, and English as a Second Language course students. ALN has TOEFL test preparation, Homestays, university and vocational school preparation, distance learning and a variety of programs desired by students around the globe.

ESL Program Introduction

The Essential English Foundations program is designed for students with beginning to low-intermediate English proficiency. Each potential student is given the ALN Placement Exam which helps determine proficiency levels and placement.
The English for Academic Excellence program is designed for students with intermediate to advanced English proficiency who are planning to enter an American college or university including technical colleges.

Advanced College and University Preparation
Advanced CU - Advanced integrated-skill courses with a focus on academic preparation, designed to help bridge students into college and university work. Emphasis on strengthening university research and study skills, and developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening proficiency through in -depth reading of authentic texts, writing formal essays, reports, and a documented paper, taking lecture notes, and participating in various formal and informal speaking tasks. Attention given to vocabulary expansion, advanced grammar in context, pronunciation, test preparation, and individual students’ academic goals. Advanced CU may be taken as an Independent Study Course and may be taken multiple times with emphasis placed on a different academic area of pursuit each semester.

The English for Business program is for individuals with intermediate to advanced English proficiency who want to improve their English for use in a variety of business situations.

The Industrial English for Foreign Workers program is designed for students with beginning to low-intermediate English proficiency. Each potential student is given the ALN Placement Exam which helps determine proficiency levels and placement.
The Cultural English Colloquialisms Program is for individuals with intermediate to advanced English proficiency who want to improve usage in colloquial English for use in social and educational settings.

German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese and Macedonian are fields of study available at our campus.
