School Introduction

Boston Academy of English is located in the heart of Boston, known as Downtown Crossing. The school is surrounded by cultural and historical attractions, including the Boston Tea Party, the Museum of Fine Arts, shopping centers and fantastic restaurants. We incorporate Boston's rich history into the classroom and have activities to the local attractions. In addition, we plan weekend trips to amusments parks, outlet shopping centers, skiing and apple-picking.

ESL Program Introduction

Boston Academy of English offers many programs to the students. We have both general English classes and test prepartion. Our Intensive program offers a structure class (grammar, reading and writing) from 9-11am each day; and a communication class (speaking, listening and pronunciation)fromm 11:30-1:30pm We also offer TOEFL and GMAT preparation classes. In the afternoon we have an elective that changes each month. Common elective topics are pronunciation, grammar games, music and current events.

Our newest addition is the TEFL course. This course is to learn how to become an English Teacher. We have a part-time course (Saturdays only) and a full-time course (weekdays). For more information contact Melanie Myers
