School Introduction

California State University, Long Beach is located 2 miles from the ocean. Located in the heart of Southern California, CSULB is conveniently close to absolutely everything. The American Language Institute can arrange Conditional Admission to CSULb before your arrival. We also offer a TOEFL waiver. Upon completion of Level 4 we will waive hte 500 TOEFL and upon completion of level 6 we will waive the 550 TOEFL for CSULB. Our conversation Partner program is available to all ALI students. We also have a mentor program where continuing students help the new students become familiar with the university and surrounding areas.

ESL Program Introduction

The ALI is a full-servie program. We offer activities as well as classroom excercises. Our faculty all have Master Degrees in TESL or Linguistics.
