School Introduction

UIC offers a unique opportunity to study English in Hawaii, both in the classroom and through activities. We offer programs for all ages, not just those wishing to study in a college level. Mini Study Abroad programs are offered for those who can only spend a few weeks, or even a few days in Hawaii. The main classrooms are located in the Waikiki Trade Center, at the heart of Waikiki. The activities are held all over the island of Oahu. Classes may go anywhere, from the beaches, to the mountains, to anywhere in-between.

ESL Program Introduction

Courses at UIC vary by length and age group. The shortest course is a half day course that includes a one hour English lesson followed by an activity. Our week long courses are composed of a three hour English lesson in the morning, followed by either a specific activity (such as surfing or golf lessons) or general activities that vary from day to day (hiking, hula lessons, trips to museums, etc.). We have partnerships with local schools, preschool to junior high school, for those staying longer in Hawaii. We also offer an intensive international English certification course that lasts for twelve weeks, perfect for those studying for TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. These are only some of the courses that are offered at our school.
