School Introduction

Astar is a Non-Profit Language School located in Washington, DC. We seek to increase the potential of ESL-speakers here in the Metropolitan area through English classes. Astar offer’s our students a variety of English courses varying from Basic Language courses to Citizenship courses. Our goal, as a Non-Profit language school, is to offer affordable classes to those who need them most.

Astar has also partnered with a local exchange association, Forte International, in order to guarantee high school and/or college placement for our students after having achieved English proficiency. We will work to improve English levels in order to assure future success for every Astar student in class and in the workplace. Academic students are eligible to join the school exchange program, which includes partnerships with top-100 high schools and universities throughout the US. Working Astar students will be given the language skills and confidence needed to succeed.

ESL Program Introduction

Astar offers courses for a student with every type of schedule. One may study in the morning, afternoon or night. A student may sign up for semi-intensive, bi-weekly or weekend courses. We pride ourselves in flexibility and convenience, offering two locations, in DC and Manassas.

Schedule & Fees

Semi-Intensive:
4 days per week, 2 hours per day,
with a monthly cost of $175
2 courses offered: 10am-12-pm or 6:45 pm-8:45 pm

Saturday Course:
Saturdays, 3 hrs per class,
with a monthly cost of $120
Course offered: 6pm-9pm

Bi-Weekly:
2 days per week, 2 hours per day,
with a monthly cost of $95
2 courses offered: 10am-12-pm or 7:15 pm-9:15 pm
