School Introduction
UC Riverside is part of the 10-campus University of California system, one of the wrold's largest and most renowned centers for higher education. The 1200-acre tree-shaded campus is one of the most beautiful of the university system.
The city of Riverside offers a safe, friendly, small-town atmosphere with big-city services. The climate is warm and dry with cool nights. The city is located 70 kilometers east of Los Angeles and within an hour's drive of beaches, ski resorts, Disneyland, Hollywood and other recreational centers.
ESL Program Introduction
The International Education Programs (IEP) at the University of California, Riverside, offers high quality educational programs for those wishing to pursue international education. They may choose from a variety of English language programs as well as from professional programs in a broad range of fields. Since 1975, IEP has developed its curriculum to provide students with the best learning experience. The results of years of experience in teaching international students, IEP programs are a unique combination of academic curriculum and support services. With over 4, 000 yearly enrollments in all programs offered, UCR-IEP has one of the largest and most respected ESL programs in the United States.
