School Introduction
Kansas State University is a regionally and nationally accredited university. Approximately 21, 000 students attend Kansas State. About 1, 000 of them are international students. The spacious, park-like campus is situated in the middle of Manhattan, a pleasant Midwestern city. Many facilities are available to students including: recreational services: (tennis, swimming, exercise rooms, pools); a newly expanded library for research and reference; free use of e-mail, computer labs and instructional classes; computer connections in dormitory rooms; a beautiful international student center with expert staff, programs, and student organizations; student health center, dormitories and married student housing; theater events; and nationally renown lecture series.
