ESL Program Introduction

Berlitz Study Abroad offers 5 unique programs for our students, ranging from Group Instruction to Total Immersion®. All of our English programs use the Berlitz Method®, and range from Level 1 (beginner) to Level 10 (native-fluent). Our new English materials, BerlitzEnglish(TM), provides essential English skills and uses the latest technology (CD-Rom, Internet, DVD, etc.) to increase our students proficiency.

EXECUTIVE -
For the individual or business person who has limited time and needs to receive as much exposure as possible to their new language, the EXECUTIVE package offers lessons through Total Immersion®. For 8 hours each day, you will think, listen and speak in your new language. Total Immersion has been proven to be the fastest, most effective way to learn a language. Get the maximum effect of learning your new language in a country where it is spoken and put your new language skills to use immediately.

EXPLORER -
Imagine yourself visiting city sites and cafes, while fulfilling your language learning goals. The EXPLORER package offers half-day Individual Instruction for those who want both a learning experience and a vacation. Customize your program to focus on your individual needs and learn at your own pace. Use your new language to communicate with shopkeepers and continue learning outside of the classroom.

JUNIOR EXECUTIVE -
The JUNIOR EXECUTIVE offers the best of both worlds for our students from abroad: Group Instruction and Individual Instruction. This program is designed to focus on the individual needs of the client during the afternoons, while spending the morning learning with new friends in groups. After class, take a stroll around town and enjoy what your new city has to offer, while practicing with your new language and increasing your proficiency.

TRAVELER (offered only in select locations – NY & Boston) -
The TRAVELER builds upon the morning Group Instruction and adds afternoon Group lessons. Meet more friends from around the world and continue progressing towards your language goals. Enjoy the support of others who are trying to achieve the same goals, in groups of 6 – 12 students. Expand your English with people from around the world and enjoy your destination city.

VOYAGER -
For those cost-conscious travelers, the VOYAGER program offers a great value. Berlitz Group Instruction offers students the ability to meet new friends from around the globe and learn in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Feel comfortable speaking with others in groups of 6 – 12 students, progress together and see the accomplishments as a group. Start living and learning English from the moment you arrive in the destination of your choice.

Tuition: (includes Processing Fee, one set of materials, technology lessons and one excursion);
Executive - $6, 500 (1st two weeks), $3, 025 per week thereafter;
Explorer - $3, 350 1st two weeks, $1, 440 per week thereafter;
Junior Executive - $1, 950 - 1st two weeks, $800 per week thereafter;
Traveler - $ 850 1st two weeks, $325 per week thereafter;
Voyager - $575 1st two weeks, $200 per week thereafter

Homestay: $300 per week (two meals per day)
Airport Pickup: $125 (one-way)
