School Introduction

Language Studies international is based at the Manhattan campus of Audrey Cohen College (ACC). The ACC campus is located on the 12th floor of the One Hudson Square Building in SoHo close to the Financial District downtown. The classrooms are both spacious and comfortable, many offering splendid views of Manhattan and the surrounding environment. Facilities include a first-class library, 2 computer labs with internet access, and a student lounge where students can take a break and relax over refreshments with their classmates. Combining a course of studies at LSI ACC with the cultural experience of New York City can be an exciting and rewarding way to improve your English language skills while at the same time getting to know one of the major cosmopolitan centers of the world.

ESL Program Introduction

LSI offers courses in English as a Second Language for international students, tourists, and business professionals from all over the world. Group classes of 20 and 30 hours per week are available year-round, as are specialized One-to-One lessons tailored to the individual’s needs. Courses last from 2 to 48 weeks with entry dates every Monday, and are held at Audrey Cohen College in the heart of Manhattan. Assistance is also provided in finding accommodations in a student residence or with a host family, and in arranging airport transfers. In addition, LSI offers a program of social activities after class hours.

Starting Dates: Every Monday in 2002 from January 7 through December 16, except for the following Monday holidays: 1/21, 2/18, 5/27, 9/2, and 10/14, when the start date moves to Tuesday.
