School Introduction

The English Language Center (ELC) is an established and respected institution that offers an Intensive English Program, approved by Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education. It is authorized under federal law to issue I-20s, which are required for F-1 student visas. The mission of the ELC is to deliver research-based, competitively priced language instruction to international students as they prepare for success in a diverse and changing world. We are committed to the discovery and development of human potential and strive to help all learners reach their personal, academic, and professional goals through transformative education.

ESL Program Introduction

Our multi-lingual faculty and administrative staff work as a team, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and training to the ELC and its students. Our Director holds a Ph.D. in Education and an M.Ed. in Bilingual Education/TESL. Our faculty is also highly credentialed. All hold undergraduate degrees in English or closely related fields, and many hold one or more graduate degrees in their respective disciplines. A number of our faculty serve as professors at nearby universities. The ELC’s administrative staff includes a SEVIS Specialist, Student Services Coordinator, Reading Specialist, and Student Advisors, who are ready and available to help learners meet the unique challenges that come with international schooling.
