School Introduction

The ESL program at International College and Graduate School (ICGS) is located on a main bus line just north of Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki. Honolulu is a multicultural city that has a lot to offer international students from Asia and the Pacific Islands. You will learn about other cultures while still feeling at home. In Hawaii, there are many opportunities to learn Hawaiian culture like learning to hula and play the ukulele. Hawaii is also known for great surfing, snokeling, and kayaking. We hire caring Christian teachers who will give you personal attention and help you succeed in your studies. We also help students find housing and counsel students on their future. We are accreditated by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

ESL Program Introduction

The ESL program at ICGS has five levels of instruction from low-beginner to advanced and we do NOT require a TOEFL score for entry. Our classes teach students how to really use English in order to prepare them for studies in US colleges and universities. We have friendly and well-qualified teachers that make English language learning enjoyable. One distinctive of ICGS is that at the most advanced level, there are two tracks of instruction that students can choose from. The first track prepares students for studying at an English-speaking seminary by using real seminary lectures and texts for learning material. As an alternative, the second track prepares students for study at English-speaking colleges and universities. Some homestay arrangements can be arranged. ICGS welcomes students to study and play in beautiful Hawaii.
