Study at Johnson State College


Johnson State College or JSC, was originally established as the Johnson Academy in 1828. In 1867, it became a school for educating teachers. Johnson State College is now one of the Vermont State Colleges. It occupies a 350-acre campus in Johnson, Vermont. JSC's recent Enrolments have been more than 1, 500 students. Johnson State College offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the fields of behavioral sciences, business and economics, education, environmental and health sciences, fine and performing arts, humanities, general studies, mathematics, and writing and literature. The athletics department of Johnson State College sponsors teams in soccer, cross country, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, softball, and volleyball. The teams are members of the NCAA Division III, and the North Atlantic Conference.
