Abu Dhabi Autism CenterAbu Dhabi Center For Autism was established in 2000 as a result of the efforts of H.H Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan, may God preserve her, and the follow-up and implementation by the Red Crescent authority and Abu Dhabi Educational Zone, then it was handed over to Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care in 2006 to become under its direct control and supervision. The Center provides specialist services to around 30 students with autism spectrum disorder. The work mechanism in the Center is based on providing a range of specialized services related to this kind of challenges, such as the Diagnosing and Assessment Service, the Early Intervention Service, the Academic Education Service, the Psychological and Social Counseling Service, The Therapy Service, the Vocational Rehabilitation Service and Inclusion Service.
