HCT Madinat Zayed Women's College Abu DhabiMadinat Zayed Higher Colleges of Technology was established in 2006, to offer high quality education to the people of Al Gharbia, in the western region of Abu Dhabi Emirate. Opened as one facility, it is separated into a Men’s College and a Women’s College. In 2007, a new campus was opened for women in Ruwais, and in 2010, Ruwais Men’s opened. There are also plans to open a new campus on Delma Island, along with a Marine Research Centre. CERT (Centre Of Excellence for Applied Research and Training) opened a Corporate Training Centre on all campuses, in 2007, to serve the educational needs of the community and teach Work Readiness. Partnerships have been formed with international institutions including Athlone Institute of Technology, Ireland, Riverside College, UK, and the Scottish Association for Marine Sciences in order to offer the highest quality internationally supported education to Al Gharbia. At HCT, Students can study at different entry levels: Masters Bachelors Diploma Foundations Work Readiness Program They can choose from different Majors: Business IT Health Sciences and Food Inspection Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Electronics/Electrical Engineering The college also offers Educational Management and Librarian courses and is a DELTA and CELTA training centre, as well as an IELTS testing centre.
