Effectively managing vehicle dealerships requires much more than simply
being able to sell cars. Larger vehicle dealerships are very complex and
diverse businesses that require skills and education in such areas as people
management, financial management, warehousing, inventory control, marketing,
customer satisfaction and accounting.
The
Graduate Certificate in Business (Automotive Dealership Management) is
comprised of four courses – all of which are compulsory. This qualification
can be completed in 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time study. The Graduate Diploma in Business (Automotive Dealership Management) is
comprised of an additional four courses – all of which are electives. This
qualification can be completed in 2 years of part-time study or 12 months of
part-time study. The
Programs were designed after extensive consultation with a large number of
senior representatives from across the automotive industry and is sponsored
by the Automotive Exhibitors Association of Australia and the Motor Traders
Association.
