Centenary Celebrations In 2012 de La Salle College will celebrate 100 years of offering Catholic education to boys in Melbourne. One hundred years ago the founding Brothers arrived from Ireland and started the first classes in the original campus in Stanhope Street now the Tramways Museum. The enrolment of 54 boys that first year has grown both in number and in reputation. Today De La Salle boasts a student population of 1 boys spread across two campuses and an alumni of more than 14 old Collegians. This community has shaped our history and the proud tradition that is De La Salle College malvern. Next year the College is planning a variety of events to celebrate this milestone and we invite you to join us in our 100th year. |
