Central Queensland University is a registered provider of quality education to Australian and International students and our programs are offered in accordance with the Australian Government Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000. From the program information in the handbook students can also access program fliers that refer to teaching methods, assessment methods, facilities and equipment and learning resources.
To be eligible for admission to CQU's university degree programs, in addition to academic prerequisites, international applicants for all programs are required to have an acceptable level of competence in writing, reading, speaking and understanding English.
Students wishing to undertake undergraduate programs and postgraduate coursework and research program are required to have the equivalent of an overall IELTS band score of 6 (with no individual band score of less than 5), or a TOEFL score of 550, including a TWE of 4 (a computer-based score of 213).
