The Plenty Campus in semi rural Mernda offers boys and girls from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern Region easy access to the education opportunities that Ivanhoe offers. Curriculum We have an outstanding record of academic achievement with a broad range of curriculum choices. Our Senior Years program enables students to prepare for the challenges of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) over three years rather than two with a flexibility that provides increased choice. All students from Year 10 study a VCE subject which allows senior students to study additional VCE subjects over Years 10 and 11. In the Middle Years we are currently implementing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program curriculum which focuses on the development of the whole child and incorporates our exciting Year 9 program where students participate in out-of-classroom experiences and move to more independent learning. At the primary level we provide students with a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy teaching through encouragement and inspiring a love of learning. Our leading co-education program means that students enjoy the benefits of gender interaction while individual needs are met.
