John Paul College is one of Queensland’s largest and most progressive private independent co-educational schools with a reputation for offering Kindergarten to Year 12 students a contemporary learning experience supported by comprehensive co-curricular performing arts and sporting programs and a leading Notebook Computer Program. Our campus is located in Daisy Hill south-east of Brisbane and north of the Gold Coast. Our aim is to develop well-balanced students who are real world ready. To ensure we deliver a consistently high standard of education to all age groups our College is divided into a number of "schools within a school". We have a strong sense of community and a proud sense of family. Year 4 marks the beginning of the notebook computer program at the College integrating technologies into a student's everyday learning environment. Our specialist middle years' pastoral and learning programs aim to engage each student in learning while challenging them to grow. Building relationships and creating confidence helps to shape the person that is yet to be recognising that academic progress during these early adolescent years depends on students feeling emotionally and socially connected.

Whatever their destination we offer exceptional choice for our Senior students as they prepare for tomorrow and make decisions about life after school. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School learning for life in our global community is very much a reality for our students. We aim to provide each child with an innovative education and internationally-oriented curriculum that delivers real world learning. And with a variety of pathways to prepare them for the real world our students really are REAL WORLD READY.

Ready for the spotlight

Students are encouraged to participate in one of the most extensive co-curricular sporting programs of any Australian school in a wide range of team and individual sports. The College maintains a proud record of sporting achievements both nationally and internationally. John Paul College has also sustained an outstanding record of high achievement in the Performing Arts. Within the School of Performing Arts students can participate in group or private instrumental vocal dance and drama lessons on a weekly basis. Each student's talent is further enhanced by involvement in an extensive and highly profiled performance program.

We believe the best way for parents to judge a school is to see it operating on a normal school day. For this reason we hold several ‘Business-as-Usual’ Open Days during the school year.

These days offer you the opportunity to meet our Headmaster senior Staff teachers and students and see our College in action on a normal day while enjoying a tour of our magnificent campus.
