It was first established in 1932 by the Sisters of St. Josephs and it has grown to be one of Mount Isa’s finest schools for academic sporting and cultural excellence. STUDIES + PASTORAL CARE St. Joseph’s is a two stream school providing an excellent academic education as well as specialist teaching in Music physical Education cultural Studies (Languages other than English) and literature. The school also has a comprehensive behaviour management program that embraces the '5C' policy - Care consideration cooperation courtesy and Common Sense. In recent years the school has introduced pastoral care personal development education sporting and enrichment programs across all year levels. INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION All levels of student ability are catered for at St. Joseph’s. The Learning Enrichment Team provide learning support and enrichment programs to cater for a range of student needs.
