School Introduction

E.I.C. Summer Youth Camp Program
Hosted at our Christian High School in St. Catharines Ontario yearly during the summer of July/ August
This program is to enhance the language of English in a 3 week/ 4 week/ or 6 week summer program yearly .
2009 program begins August 10th til August 28 a 3 week program of ESl classes daily with work shop in afternoon and various site seeing tourist attractions every saturday .
Residing with a home stay family in St. Catharines for home cooked meals / and furnished bedrooms .
2010 programs will commence July 7th until August 21st .
all entries must apply yearly by June 20th .
We also have group rates available .

ESL Program Introduction

ESL program consists of :
9:00 to 11:30
Students will enhance learning of Written/ Oral/ and Listening.
Instructed by Qualified ESL staff of canadian teachers.
11:40 to 12:40 lunch
12:50 to 1:50 music class
2:00 to 3:00 recreation of swimming or sports .
Students tested on arrival for level to be placed in .
excursions every saturday ..

Background Data

• Number of ESL Students: limited to 150 per program each summer
• Average Class Size: 15 per class per each level of english
• Hours per Week: ESL class 12 hours per week
• Minimum Age: ages 10 to 18
• Housing Options: Homestay

Schedule & Fees

July thru august July 7th to August 28
3 week programs $ 2, 000
6 week programs $ 4, 000
programs include home stay/ ESL classes/ 1 excursion weekly .
extra is : musical instrument rental if taking out of class
$ 20.00 weekly rental
at end of program student has option to purchase at discount rate.
extra is : tutoring class in evening $ 25.00 per hour
extra: local bus pass $ 75.00 per 4 week
flights are not included.
