The triple-threat approach at MacEwan
MacEwan's Theatre Arts Program is a full-time actor-training program that
trains you in the three disciplines of singing, acting, and dancing, all
delivered in a stimulating conservatory environment.
Additional courses in theatre aesthetics, play analysis, music theory and
ear training give you theoretical knowledge to complement your studio
training.
In your second year, four major public performances will give you the
chance to flaunt what you have learned. In over 20 years of training
actors and presenting superb live theatre, MacEwan's Theatre Arts students
have tackled many ambitious shows such as Cabaret, Pal Joey, Big, Gypsy,
On Your Toes and many, many others.
