or CBT 210 ) will receive an unconditional letter of acceptance and may
proceed to a full academic load of 5 courses per semester. Students who have

Language Training
The
ESL program schedule consists of about 15 to 20 hours
per week of classes offered in the mornings and afternoons, five days per week
from Monday to Friday. Schedules vary depending on the courses chosen. Courses
include core courses in grammar, writing, reading, listening and speaking as
well as various electives in communication, such as conversation, speeches,
pronunciation, vocabulary, Canadian studies, current events discussions and
TOEFL/TOEIC preparation. Classes are relaxed and teachers encourage student
interaction in all classes. There are four levels of core courses during the
Fall and Winter semesters. During the Fall and Winter semesters, students in
the top three levels of the English Language Training program may take one to
three academic courses with Canadian students for audit or credit (number of
courses allowed depends on level). During the Spring semester, both academic
English and Communication classes are offered. Students who complete the ESL
