SFU BUSINESS GRADUATE PROGRAMS
SFU Business is a business school with a history of doing things differently.
The needs of the local, national and international business community guide our
decisions in research, business programs and community outreach.
SFU Business
began delivering management education with the launch of Canada's first
Executive MBA program more than 40 years ago, and we've continued to expand and
tailor our program offerings to reflect changes in the business environment. One
thing has remained the same: our commitment to provide the best learning
experience possible.
The Segal Graduate School of Business western Canada's first dedicated centre
for graduate business education opened in 2005 in the heart of downtown
Vancouver's business district. The location is a distinctive venue for scholars,
students, business and industry leaders to convene, teach, learn and explore the
latest management concepts. It houses all of SFU Business graduate studies
programs as well as specialized research centres:
The CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Measurement
The CIBC Centre for Corporate Governance and Risk Management
The Centre for Biotechnology Management
MBA programs
Graduate programs at SFU Business are unique. Most business schools offer only
one MBA program with multiple specialist streams following the basic coursework.
We instead provide individual programs tailored for separate markets, with each
program offered on a cohort model. This enables us to tailor every course to the
specific population served, resulting in a more satisfying student experience
delivered in smaller class sizes to cohesive groups.

The MOT MBA is
offered over two-years, as a part-time program with classes held two nights a

manage these realities. In addition, throughout the MOT MBA program, students
complete assignments which relate directly to their organization. The
application of classroom learning in the workplace is an essential element of
