Learning Support Programme
Dulwich College Beijing is a member of the family of Dulwich Colleges in China and a partner to Dulwich College London, a prestigious UK independent school dating back to the early seventeenth century.

The College delivers an academic programme based upon the National Curriculum for England and Wales, suitably adapted for international education with over 1200 students on the roll, the youngest aged twelve months and the oldest following the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. 71% of the IGCSE grades for 2008 were at A and A* level. The College will graduate its first cohort of IBDP students in 2010.

The College’s educational philosophy places equal emphasis on the intellectual and personal development of students and focuses on four core areas: academic excellence; a commitment to sport; the provision of a wide range of musical, dramatic and artistic opportunities; and a commitment to the community.

The main school is built around the Media Centre with a full range of paper-based and digital resources. Interactive whiteboards feature throughout the building and the College’s Virtual Learning Environment supports work in the classroom.

The performance facilities include a 230-seat theatre, a black box theatre, ICT suite for composition, large teaching rooms and practice rooms. All students in Years 3 to 6 are required to learn a different musical instrument each year with the College providing these.

To support the sports programme, the College has extensive indoor and outdoor facilities. These include a sports centre which houses a swimming pool, sports hall, fitness and dance rooms; two full sized football pitches, a rugby pitch, cricket pitch; tennis courts, a hockey pitch and a golf centre with a driving range, bunker and putting green.
