About the Office
The Academic Exchange and Collaboration Office (AECO) is responsible for promoting collaborations and exchanges with academic institutions on the Chinese mainland and overseas. We act as a catalyst to facilitate individual departments in building fruitful linkages with their preferred partners outside Hong Kong as well as implementing the institutional strategic directions on exchange and collaborations. One of our major endeavours is to promote the internationalization of the University by coordinating student exchange programmes and recruiting students from outside Hong Kong to study at the University. With a service-oriented philosophy, we are committed to provide value-added services to our internal and external customers in a most effective and efficient manner.
Our Mission
  • To project a good PolyU image to academic and professional institutions on the Chinese mainland and overseas;

  • To act as a catalyst to facilitate the PolyU community in fostering collaborations with strategic institutional partners on the Chinese mainland and overseas; and

  • To promote the internationalization of the University.
