ASEICA teachers work side-by-side with French colleagues in several state schools from primary through collège and lycée, ultimately preparing students for the French Baccalaureate with an International Option (BOI) at the Centre International de Valbonne (CIV). ASEICA has run the Anglophone section at the CIV since its inception. At primary level, ASEICA classes are integrated into two local primary schools (Ecole Elémentaire Sartoux in Valbonne, Ecole Primaire des Trois Collines in Mougins) with students receiving 50% of their education in English and 50% in French. At middle school level, children follow the state curriculum working towards the Brevet International, with English language, literature, history and geography taught by ASEICA teachers all of whom are native English speakers fully qualified in their home countries. In addition to the Collège International de Valbonne at the CIV, ASEICA classes are integrated into two other local middle schools, (Collège Niki de St Phalle in Valbonne and Collège de l'Eganaude in Biot). The same structure continues in the Lycée International de Valbonne at the CIV, as the children work towards the BOI, ensuring a very high level of bilingualism among the student body as well as a high level of integration into local French life. ASEICA's guidance teacher supports ASEICA students through the university admission process and the majority go on to study at the best universities in France and worldwide. Extra-curricular activities include Model United Nations, Theatre and Yearbook. The CIV is a testing centre for SAT. Please address the CIV directly for information concerning boarding facilities.
