Who are We? Experience Language is a language travel agency specialising in French language courses in France and Spanish courses in Spain. From our experience, we strongly believe that the best way to learn a language is by learning it in the country where that language is spoken. Mais ce n'est pas suffisant! It is also important to learn in a friendly and safe environment. With this in mind, we have built up a portfolio of hand picked accredited language schools offering innovative and fun French and Spanish language courses in France and Spain. As an independent company, we are able to give you impartial advice and recommend the best French and Spanish courses and locations to suit your individual requirements. More about Experience Language >> The Schools The schools we work with are all accredited institutions that we have selected for their friendliness, the personal care they offer students, their academic standards as well as their social and cultural programmes. The teachers are all fully qualified native French or Spanish speakers. While we are happy to recommend all the schools we work with, it doesn't mean that all the schools can meet your requirements. Contactez-nous (by email, telephone or via the website) if you need some advice and we will do our best to help you. How to choose a school and location >> The Courses The courses take place all year round and are aimed at students of all levels and ages. We offer courses of varying duration, from one week to six months. Most students enrol for two to four weeks. Courses take place from Monday to Friday unless specified otherwise. Prior to the course or on the first day, students take a placement test to ensure they are placed in the correct ability group. How to choose a course >> The Levels The schools use the six reference levels defined by the Council of Europe: Beginner: A0 Basic User: A1 and A2 Independent User: B1 and B2 Proficient User: C1 and C2 You can estimate your level by visiting the Council of Europe website. Alternatively you can download the self assessment form below: Assessment Form In the summer, most schools offer a class for each level; in the winter, schools often offer less classes, ie.less levels. There are specific starting dates for beginners. Accommodation Most courses can be booked with or without accommodation. Depending on the chosen destination, types of accommodation include: Host Family Host family accommodation is for all ages, not just juniors. Through living with a family, you experience a full immersion in the country's lifestyle and culture and get a chance to savour some typical dishes. It is nice to have the comfort of a home and yet have the freedom to come and go as you wish. You can choose breakfast only or half board (breakfast and dinner). We recommend half board as most of the discussions with the family usually take place over dinner. Apartment in a hotel residence Hotel residences such as Pierre et Vacances and Citadines. Hotel We can recommend hotels for all budgets.
